Clear choices, respectful tracking.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and scripts that store or access device information. They can make a website function, remember choices, protect forms, measure performance or support advertising.

In this policy, “cookies” includes these comparable technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

2. Who is responsible?

3. Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

These support functions requested by the visitor, such as page delivery, security, session management, load balancing, form submission and storage of cookie choices. They are used without optional consent where law permits because the site cannot provide the requested function properly without them.

Analytics

With consent, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate usage, such as visited pages, approximate location, device type, referring source and interaction patterns. Analytics must remain disabled until the visitor makes an affirmative choice.

Functional

These remember optional preferences or enable enhanced third-party features. Where they are not strictly necessary, they are used only after consent.

Advertising

If advertising or remarketing technologies are introduced, they may measure campaigns or build advertising audiences. They must not operate before valid consent and must be added to the live cookie declaration. This policy does not itself authorise an unlisted advertising tag.

4. Current cookie declaration

Cookie names and lifetimes may change when providers update their technology. The consent interface and live declaration should reflect the technology actually in use.

5. Your choices

On the first visit, the cookie interface should offer choices of equal clarity:

• Accept all non-essential cookies;
• Reject non-essential cookies while keeping necessary functions;
• Manage preferences by category.

Closing the banner, scrolling or continuing to browse is not consent. Optional cookies must not be placed before a positive choice. Consent should be recorded and should be as easy to withdraw as to give.

The button must be connected to the Odoo consent manager or your consent-management platform. Do not publish a non-functional control.

You may also delete cookies or block them through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent forms, security features or preferences from working correctly.

6. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is activated only after analytics consent. Where supported and appropriate, we configure privacy-focused settings, restrict retention, limit unnecessary data collection and avoid sending names, contact details or intimate enquiry text to Google Analytics. URL parameters and event labels must not contain personal or special-category information.

Google may process information in multiple countries under its own terms and safeguards. More information is available in Google’s privacy documentation. Withdrawing analytics consent should stop future analytics storage or access on that device; previously collected information may remain in aggregated or retained records according to applicable settings and law.

7. External websites, WhatsApp and payment services

Links to WhatsApp, Wise, Revolut, banks, airlines, hotels or other external services may take you to a separate website or application. Those providers may set their own cookies after you choose to visit them. Their policies and controls apply to their services.

A simple outbound link does not by itself justify loading that provider’s tracking technology on DesireHub before consent. Embedded content, chat widgets, videos or pixels must be assessed and, where non-essential, blocked until consent.

8. Global Privacy Control and browser signals

Where legally required and technically supported, we aim to respect recognised browser privacy signals. Browser “Do Not Track” settings are not interpreted consistently across all services; the most reliable method is to use our cookie preferences and browser controls.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when providers, cookies, legal requirements or website features change. The current effective date will appear at the top. Material changes to non-essential processing may require a renewed consent choice.
